DOG DAZE DUATHLON

The 3rd Annual Dog Daze Duathlon, presented by the City of Leavenworth Parks and Recreation Department and Leavenworth Triathlon Club is Sunday 10 August 2014.  It consists a 5k run, a 20 mile bike ride, followed by a 5k run.  A 5k run as well as a 5k walk will be held in conjunction with the Duathlon.  This event is USAT certified.  No race day sign-ups.  Click here to register online.

The race will start and finish at Warren Middle School off 10th Avenue in Leavenworth. The 5k run route is a single loop course on roadway, asphalt running path, over a footbridge, and along a sidewalk. Duathletes will negotiate this course twice. The bike ride is a single loop 20 mile course over hilly terrain that takes the riders out into Leavenworth county via County Roads 5, 10, and 29 and then returning on County 5.

Timing
Chip timing will be used.  A $50.00 fee will be charged if chip is not returned.

Weather
Participants may be exposed to extreme weather conditions including 90+ degree heat and humidity.  Participants should train for these conditions and be well-hydrated prior to the event.

There will be no rain date or rescheduling of this event.  NO REFUNDS.
